EMC® Retrospect Windows 7.5 Product Editions
EMC Retrospect Multi Server Edition runs on a Windows computer and reliably protects Windows, Macintosh, Linux, Solaris, NetWare and VMWare servers, desktops and notebooks, plus 24x7 applications.
Retrospect Single Server Edition runs on a Windows server and protects the server plus desktops and notebooks. It supports Windows, Macintosh, Linux, Solaris, NetWare and VMWare clients.
Retrospect Disk-to-Disk Edition protects a Windows computer backing up to disk or optical media. Purchase client licenses to protect additional servers, desktops, and notebooks.
EMC Retrospect Small Business Server Edition protects a Windows Small Business server, including online protection for Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server, plus desktops and notebooks.
Retrospect Professional Edition is designed for homes and home offices; Retrospect Professional Edition protects a single Windows desktop or notebook, or a small network of Windows, Macintosh, and Linux desktops and notebooks.
Retrospect 7.5 Add-ons - The capabilities of EMC Retrospect can be extended with add-ons to meet each customer's specific needs.
The Add-on Value Package includes the Open File Backup, Disaster Recovery, User Initiate Restore, Advanced Tape Support, Microsoft SQL Server Agent, and Microsoft Exchange Server Agent add-ons.
The Open File Backup Unlimited add-on protects Windows files (on NTFS file system) that are open and in use as well as business-critical applications that run 24 hours a day.
The Open File Backup 3 Server add-on protects Windows files (on NTFS file systems) that are open and in use on the Retrospect backup server and two networked server clients.
The User Initiated Restore add-on allows users to restore their files from the backup server via a Web browser without assistance from IT personnel.
Disaster Recovery add-on enables a bare metal system recovery of all networked Windows computers that are being protected, avoiding time-consuming software installation and reconfiguration.
The Microsoft Exchange Server Agent add-on provides fast, precise backups of Exchange 2000 Server, Exchange Server 2003, and Exchange Server 5.5 while they are up and running.
The SQL Server Agent add-on provides fast, precise backups of Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2000, and 7.0 while they are up and running.
The Advanced Tape Support add-on dramatically improves backup times by utilizing multiple tape drives in parallel, including stand-alone drives, or drives in libraries or autoloaders.
Add-on Value Package SBS includes Open File Backup, Advanced Tape Support, and User Initiated Restore add-ons for use only with Retrospect Small Business Server Edition.
Each Retrospect Server Client License enables backups on one additional networked server client. (Available only with Retrospect Single Server, Small Business Server, and Disk-to-Disk editions.)

Annual Support and Maintenance is the most convenient and cost-effective way to get your questions answered and to receive upgrades of Retrospect or Retrospect add-on software, but other support and maintenance options are available to meet the varying needs of our customers.
